What ACS auditors actually look for

• Assignment instructions per site — current, site-specific and signed off, not a generic template gathering dust.
• Complete, contemporaneous records — daily occurrence books, patrol logs and incident reports filled in at the time, legibly, with no gaps.
• Evidence of supervision — documented site visits and checks proving officers are actively managed, not just deployed.
• Risk assessments that match the work — lone working, site survey and task-specific assessments that are reviewed and in date.
